Ultrasonic waves are transmitted to a point you want to measure. The device measures the time taken by the waves to reflect and then calculates and re-transcribes the distance. When measurement is complete it will inform the user with a beep and displays the result on the LCD display.

Its extremely easy-to-use. Just press one button and the distance will instantly show up on the LCD display, and simply by pressing a few buttons, areas and volumes can be calculated. Its blue backlit LCD display also makes it easy to read on the dimly lit or dark jobsites.
